RE: Ausgangswelle Ersatz und Fall Schweiß
Next question:
How do you seperate the two halves?
I don´t think thats possible to seperate the halves if the crankshaft remains in the right half.
You need heavy force to get the left crankshaft bearing out from the sit.
Then you try to seperate with screwdriver?
Your lucky if you are able to seperate without damage to the sealing surface doing the normal way.
The balancing shaft ist between the crankshaft too.
You have to unbolt crankshaft and balance shaft then you have nearly the traditional way...
I promise doing the normal way, nothing will fall to pieces :7
I´m very curious. (ist that the right word for "neugierig" - nosy, snoopy nebby?)

One more thing:
Gearwheel second gear number seven can´t be removed from the (clutch) shaft. Force fit. You need a hydraulic press.
Its necessary to remove the fifth gear.
Or mabye for splitting in your way?
The long and the short of it forget it.

...show us some pics from the gearwheels, please...I wonder, what they look like with less than 9000 original kilometres...let´s hope, they don´t look like the output shaft...

RE: Ausgangswelle Ersatz und Fall Schweiß
I changed my fifth gear and a few years later i disassembled the engine again. So 10000km.
The fifth gear shows signes of usage again x(
It was not damaged but definitely used.

Not so true. The bearing on the left is not heavy forced in place. It is an easy fit. I know this as I have separated 3-4 XT600 bottom ends for parting out. For all of them I removed the right side parts and rotor. Then I undid the bolts in the center of the case and pulled it apart with my hands. Here is a pic of one of the cranks with both bearings firmly attached. The cases came away without issue.

This is true. It is why I do not think the short method will work.

I do think the transmission will be fine. It definitely runs & shifts excellent. I bought the engine still in a ridable bike. It was only after I decided to pull the motor to put in my bike that I found the bad output.
Below is picture of one of the transmissions parted out to sell last year. It was pretty nice. Now I wish I still had the shaft! I bought a new one the other day. It is coming soon.

Here is another of the cranks I parted out. It has the bearing in place too. It was removed by hand from the case as well.

RE: Ausgangswelle Ersatz und Fall Schweiß
On the surfase oft the bearing you can see that the bearing have moved => the sit ist not the strongest. Its not beautiful...
(The blue colour on the cranks surface is normal)
